I walked right up to the counter where I found the staff to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. I spent less than 10 minutes collecting the vehicle. I was so pleased.

Wait time was almost an hour. They had room for one more staff member to check people in but maybe not the staff for it. Linda, who checked me in, was positive and cheery and gave me a list of restaurants to try.

We rent vehicles from the Palm Springs airport many times throughout the year. The rental of the SUV from Dollar Rent-A-Car was smooth and the best price that we had seen. Unfortunately all rental cars are expensive right now but we were able to secure the best price and the best vehicle.

This company Avis Buget are crooks I took the car back FULL of gas they charge me fof gas I did get a refund always get a recipt and take a photo of the gas guage

The first car the back hatch did not work. Then they gave me a Jeep renegade which I could not fit into. The third car a chev. Suv was fine. But it took way to long, and the young girl behind the counter did not care.

The line up ridiculously long. Only 1 staff member. Over an hour wait to get to the counter. Confusion with key to match car and stall number. I will pay more next time to avoid Avis car rental. Never again. - worst service

I had to wait for 3 hours to get a car. They had a long, long line up and by the time I got to the counter they were out of cars. They gave me a large Toyota 4runner instead of the Camri I had reserved. I doubt I will use Avlis again. They were totally incompetent.

So Ive been charged money and after drop off there was zero mention of this. the car was full of petrol and the condition was normal. inside was clean. outside had desert dust on it. no idea why they charged me this sneaky fee.

the guy on the front disk "Raymond" was rude didnt even replay on how he was doing when I asked him car was dirty from pass trip and low on gas I went back to him but he was busy with others and i didnt wait

Car was a bit tired and hadn’t been cleaned or valeted. However was adequate for our trip and was an upgrade on what was ordered. Desk was helpful and quick once the queue had gone down. Great drop off, parked in one of several lanes, took luggage and handed over keys.

They gave us a standard tesla but after a week of driving wound up not keeping the charge. We were driving quite alot from Palm Springs to Phoenix to New Mexico - Tucson and finally had to go back to PHX to exchange the car because it was too stressful having to stop literally every hour to charge the car! The budget team was absolutely excellent in providing great service. They exchanged the vehicle with a long range version which actually worked properly. Honestly tough if youre planning a long trip I would recommend a gas vehicle because its just not worth all the time you will be spending to charge the vehicle - for minimal $ savings. Its a headache

Like: The staff were pretty accommodating and nice upon our arrival.
Dislike: We arrived about 1-1/2 hour early for drop off and almost an hour before our flight when we entered the immigration. My husband remembered that he forgot his vest hanging behind the driver's seat. He immediately went back to Alamo and told them about the vest. The staff at the counter told him that the car is already a mile away and there was no vest returned to their L&F, not knowing that my husband, together with another staff already looked at the car prior to approaching him. The staff knew that my husband has a flight to catch so there seems to be a delaying tactic so that he would just go. He was already on his way back to immigration until he met a security and told him about the missing vest. The security told him that he gave the vest to the staff at the counter and they both went to the counter and approached the staff. It was only then that the staff took out the vest and asked if that is the one my husband was looking for. All along the vest was with him. My husband told him that if he wanted the vest he could have asked for it instead of denying that it wasn't there. He just went back for it because he want to check the pockets whether he left some papers or IDs.

The agent at the counter was friendly and found my reservation quickly. I booked a Chevy Malibu online. As I arrived at the end of the day they were out of inventory. The agent upgraded me to a brand new mini van without any extra costs.

Like: Hassle free pick-up at Palm Springs airport. Staff was pleasant and efficient without trying to sell you additional services. Car was a Nissan Sentra which was more than adequate for our needs. Drop-off was also quick and easy.

Fast and super friendly service. We were picked up at the airport with in minutes of calling and the drive was less than 5 minutes to the rental place. We were in our car and on the road in less than 15 minutes.

Very impressed with both the pick up and drop off. Why would anyone want to deal with that hassle at the airport. Only suggestion: a little more attention to inside of the windows. They obviously hadn't been carefully cleaned in a while. A lot of glare the first time I drove at night.
