Really great rental experience this time. I landed in Tucson pretty late, but thanks to the clear instructions on my booking it was super easy to find the rental location. The staff were very friendly and professional, didn’t try to upsell me anything, and processed everything quickly. Picking up the car was smooth and straightforward. Returning the car was just as easy: even though there were several cars ahead of me, the staff checked mine very quickly. The whole return process took less than 10 minutes—they just walked around the car once and that was it, no delays at all. Overall, incredibly convenient.

Thrifty wasn’t prepared with the type vehicle I had reserved and tried to upgrade me to a van. After some firm discussion, they sent out for one ata different lot. Kept my original price but had to wait.

Unfortunately they didn't have a car ready for us and tried to talk us into a paid upgrade. We were on a tight schedule so the fact that a car wasn't ready and waiting for us and we were to wait for one to be delivered from another lot was unacceptable. in the end they discounted us. this made up for the fiasco in the beginning. They deserve another chance. As for the car, it was adequate, no frills or added features but clean and attractive.
