No wait for pickup. Booked a compact SUV, but received a mid-sized SUV instead. The exterior had several minor scratches, and the interior was quite dirty. Luckily, the car drove without issues and there were no complaints during return. Refund of the $200 deposit was processed within half an hour after returning the car. Note that getting the car earlier means you’ll need to return it earlier as well. Picked up the car within half an hour of landing on Kauai Island. Overall, satisfied.

Chose the rental company's full insurance. At the store, there was no upselling—just a question about whether to return with a full tank or buy a tank of fuel. Both pickup and drop-off were quick, and the shuttle runs every five minutes.

They sent an additional $52 bill after checkout without any explanation during pickup or drop-off. I rented a full-size SUV because we had 5 people and quite a bit of luggage, but they gave me a QX80. The second row could only seat two people, and the third row was cramped, making the ride very uncomfortable.

Staff were great, car was great, the queue to pick up the car was long, and only 2 or 3 staff taking the bookings. Surely the rental company knows exactly how many cars are booked per flight, and can therefore have sufficient staff on hand to deal with the influx. We had prebooked and prepaid, so only had to produce licence and sign off, but still had to wait in queue with others who either hadn't booked at all, or had booked and not paid. It was a long drawn out affair.

Took a long time to clean the car for us on a hot day, car drove well and was spacious but electric boot and electric sliding doors were super annoying and worst of all car leaked gas when filling up. Not ideal for a very expensive rental.

Well started off waiting in line for almost 2 hours. Then they were out of the car I requested, so hot something I didn’t want. The car was so little could barely get luggage in. Car had a miss in transmission when cold, convertible top was very temperamental, and tires all needed air.

Not enough staff at pick up. The counter people were great, but; Support staff seemed dis-engaged and unorganized. Rather than explain the details to each customer, maybe it would be good for everyone waiting in line to be reading the general terms and sign a terms contract based on what they read while waiting. This could cut the wait time in half or more.
