Steven, the manager at Dollar Rent a Car at Vancouver International Airport, proactively helped us locate the car in the parking lot and assisted in placing a 23-kilogram suitcase into the vehicle. During the rental period, when the car key was accidentally locked in the trunk, Steven took the initiative to call Nissan's service hotline and coordinate with Rusty Towing to resolve the issue promptly. This car rental experience was the best I've ever had. Picking up the car was very convenient, and the company upgraded my rental to a Ford ESCAPE, which is a hybrid vehicle. The car was very new, extremely fuel-efficient, and a pleasure to drive. Returning the car was also very easy. I had rented the car for ten days but returned it a day earlier for other reasons. I had expected to be charged for all ten days, but to my surprise, I was only charged for nine days. What a delightful surprise!

The car pick-up in Vancouver was on time. There was no Toyota RAV4 available, so the rental company provided a Hyundai Tucson. It's a 2023 model, offers good handling, and is fuel-efficient.

It was a pleasant surprise to rent a Ford Expedition, an eight-seater full-size SUV that had only driven a little over 6,000 kilometers and was practically brand new. The car is spacious, seating eight people comfortably, and is very practical. It performs great for off-road trips, though it feels a bit large for urban areas and is not very convenient for parking. Still, this vehicle is fantastic, and returning it was very easy.

This time, I rented a Chrysler Pacifica, a 7-seater MPV. It was spacious, comfortable, and in excellent condition, with only about 8,000 kilometers on it—practically a new car. As long as you're not going off-road, this model is perfect for a 5-person trip. The most outstanding feature is that, even with 5 people on board, it can easily fit 5 large 28-inch suitcases, and possibly even 6. The deposit was refunded 3 days after returning the car. Both pickup and drop-off were simple and smooth—just refuel, do a light cleaning of the interior, and you're good to go. There was staff waiting at the drop-off point, and the process was hassle-free.

Experience was very disappointing. Pick-up: you either are partner with Routes or you are not. At the counter I got the rehearsed "they did not give us all the information" which is simply non sense. The additional amount we had to pay for the second driver (£113) was different from what mentioned in the booking (£94). When we asked for explanation they printed the email received from Europcar and none of the numbers made any sense at all (rate between GBP and CAD was over 2). Luckily enough we only had to pay for the additional driver and the difference was small, but it was impossible to understand what we paid and what we needed to pay from the information provided. Drop-Off: we had to wait in the pick up queue as no one was available at the return counter. After 20 minutes of wait we were told we could leave the keys to one of their representative - which we eneded up doing - if the car was in the same condition. Not an experience I'd like to repeat.

I had already purchased full insurance, but the staff still recommended an additional $7 per day insurance covering flat tires and lost keys, which I declined. A deposit of $400 was charged instead of the $200 I initially expected. Everything else was good, the car had over 50,000 kilometers but was in very new condition.

No problems throughout the journey. The car was mechanically sound and did not give us any problems. They should offer unlimited mileage option at a competitive price. I had a round trip BC experience that exceeded my daily driving limit of 200KM which was very less. So for adventure travellers the car turned out to be bit expensive. I was actually thinking of renting cars with unlimited mileage in future.

The process from pickup to return was very convenient. I booked a Golf but got a Corolla instead, which turned out to be just as good. Excellent customer service. The pick-up is not based in the airport but a lovely lady messaged me on Whatsapp when our flight landed to explain where to meet her. She picked us up right outside the airport and drove us to the car rental office to pick up the car. The lady also met us at the airport when we were returning the car to help me with filling the tank (I am from the UK and this was the first time I'd hired a car in Canada)

Don't rent from Easter re gal in Vancouver BC. First of all I thought I was renting from Ace. We used Ace in Europe and we were delighted. How this time it turned out not to be Ace but a sub company. My rental for 5 days was to be $144.00. I was not informed that the discount car rental sub company would not accept my personal car insurances. Discount wanted $50 per day for their insurance. The clerk told me this was BC policy. I called Hertz and got a rental no problem and they accepted my insurance.

The car definitely exceeded my expectation and it was so smooth to drive. We had a 2016 Dodge Van and it only had 22000 km on it! the price definitely was way cheaper and you still get a nice car. Took a bit longer to get our car (30min) b/c the previous renter returned it late .. they were still washing our car when we got there. But the service was pretty good, they explained everything in detail and there was no unexpected random charges anywhere. They didn’t try to upsell us anything either. :) I would rent there again.

Long waiting for pickup. Car was not ready ( no gas) and not clean. Poor counter desk service and not transparent agreement. Preauthorization will hold money for 30 days. Work hours only from 10 AM to 6 PM. Need to make international call to schedule pickup. The company is used cars dealership and car rental seems axillary business with no much attitude toward it

This agency is not in the terminal. After I called, someone came to pick us up in an unmarked car and brought us to a used car company where they did not appear to have a car for us and found a car in a different class, which they affixed license plates to in front of us. Car was not clean. Tried to have us pay for an additional driver which was included in our rate.

Waited an hour after the phone call to be picked from the airport, no call display to communicate where about is the picked driver. The vehicle is filthy sticky with garbage inside not cleaned up from the previous rental, and was told none available as I requested for another car. Lots of ding dens found around the vehicles Must purchase their collision insurance at their counter without options. Will never rent again from this company.
