Both T1 and T2 can be used for picking up and returning cars. For returns at T1, it's at the parking lot P7 directly across the street—make sure to watch for the signs as they're quite small and easy to miss. For pickups at T2, you need to take a shuttle bus to a parking lot. Just wait at the exit near the rental counter for the bus to arrive.

I have always rented cars through the QEEQ platform, both domestically and internationally, and it has always been very convenient. The car provided was perfectly suited for my long road trip since they knew I needed it for an extended period. Returning the car was incredibly quick—before I even finished taking pictures, the process was already completed, and I was informed everything was fine. The car was then moved nearby for cleaning and washing. The mobile navigation system connected directly to the car, which was very convenient. The vehicle had various alerts, such as speeding, speed limits, turning, eye focus, and rest reminders. Picking up the car was also very quick. I got a nearly brand-new car, less than a year old, in decent condition. The previous driver might have frequently driven in mountainous areas since the full tank range showed 460 kilometers with a fuel consumption of around 10 liters per 100 kilometers. In my actual use, the fuel consumption was just 6 liters per 100 kilometers, and the full tank range displayed was around 570 kilometers. The highway tolls were processed directly, with a small service fee charged per transaction, roughly 1.5 AUD.

I want to remind fellow renters that during the car pickup process, it’s essential to confirm with the rental office that you’re getting the exact model you requested. Since I needed space for two golf bags, I specifically chose a medium SUV, the Toyota RAV4, when placing my order. However, after completing the paperwork and heading to the parking lot with my luggage, I saw that the car was actually a small SUV. I had to carry my luggage back to the counter and communicate with them to get it changed to a RAV4. This took an additional 10 minutes, but thankfully, the issue was eventually resolved.

Like: The cars were perfect and immaculate.
Dislike: That there were hidden costs. We rented 2 cars and on the site stated no other costs. Upon pickup we had to pay bonds of $200 each plus insurance which costs over $500NZD. They don't take cash either. Wish we knew prior so we could leave cash in accounts rather than having cashed out all our spending then having to call home to transfer etc... delayed process and not good start to trip. ALL costs including bond etc.. should be mentioned.

We asked the staff what time they close the office as we might drop off the car when we get back from our trip within the day we rent the car. They told us that they will close at 9 pm, so we tried to get to the office before 9 pm. But when we arrive there around 8.30 pm, they already close the office no one is there. We try to contract them but no one pick up the phone, so we tried to called the main office and I already told them that there is no one in the office but they keep us waiting and call to the office that there is no one. The staff I talk to said we can just leave the car there, but how are we going to get back to the hotel. The staff inform us that we did not tell them that we will drop off the car today so they going home early, but the staff should let me know as well about the closing, that they might closing early if it’s not busy, they only say they close at 9 pm. However, someone from Right2drive came to us and offer us a ride to our hotel, we really thankful to them as it’s really dark to walk from the office to get to the bus stop and if we have to go back to our hotel by bus it will take us to wait for the bus 20min and the bus will 40 min to get to our hotel. In conclusion I’m very disappointed in renting the car with Tripz.
