There was no queue ahead, and the car was ready and parked right in front of the store when I arrived. I was given a nearly new Nissan X-Trail Hybrid, which had only been driven 700 kilometers and was in perfect condition without any scratches. Except for the slightly complicated cruise control settings, the car was very easy to drive.

This rental company is excellent, easy to locate, with great service. The return process is quick; the car is inspected and the deposit refunded immediately. Their operating hours are long, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, which is approximately 3 hours longer than other nearby rental companies. The shuttle bus service is very prompt, almost no waiting required.

Good experience with car rental and return. Passing through Brisbane Airport to downtown incurred an automatic toll of AUD$7.5 including tax, which was automatically charged to the rental credit card.

The service attitude was excellent, and the vehicle was very new. I landed at 7 PM, and the staff was very patient, giving me a Mazda 3 with 10,000 kilometers on it. Based on my experience this time, I chose Alamo primarily because of its high rating of 9.8. My actual experience matched the rating. Another reason is that both pickup and drop-off are located within the walkable area of the airport, which is very convenient. During pickup, although there was no one at the counter initially, a staff member arrived within about 5 minutes after a phone call to complete the process. There were no insurance upsell attempts, and they informed me that if any issues arise, I would need to claim with my domestic insurance company. There was no additional payment for upgraded services. The pickup spot is located in the parking lot just below the arrival level at Brisbane Airport, which is extremely convenient—just a few steps away. For drop-off, it was also inside Sydney Airport, but it's important to pay attention and not miss the correct turn. The car I got was quite new, with a mileage of 16,000 km. Although it was a small car, it came with auxiliary features like cruise control. The power was sufficient and perfectly adequate as long as you avoid gravel roads.

Picking up the car was not very smooth, but everything else was fine. The car model was a bit old. My language skills are not great, but I was able to communicate with the staff. The first car they provided had a fault, and after some discussion, they replaced it. However, the replacement process took quite a long time. Although we scheduled to pick up the car at 11 AM, we didn't get it until almost 1 PM.

Although the rental company is quite small, their service attitude is excellent. The car was very new, the pre-authorization hold was lower than other companies, and the hold was released immediately upon return, with the amount credited back the next day. Truly impressive.

Is ACE affiliated with Hertz? I returned a car at Brisbane International and rented another one (due to a different drop-off location) while waiting at the designated spot. ACE sent a car to pick me up. The cars have good value for money; they may not be brand new but still very easy to drive and fuel-efficient. They didn't push for insurance, but I had already bought full coverage. A two-seater car was more than enough for two people.

Staff at pick up were unfriendly and was sniffing and sick. Toll option only available of $18 a day. You can't register the car for tolls 24hoirs before you use a toll so there is an automatic admin free of $35. I won't use them again or hertz. Staff at drop off was unfriendly and told me not to worry about using the check in app

I was late to collect my car but rang ahead to let them know I was a bit lost. There was a slight mishap with my allocated car so the one I given was definitely way better. The only thing which I found frustrating was the person who I was dealing with could not explain about the road tolling charges other than there was an administrative charge on top. I would be charged after they had recieved the cars tolls but he was not sure if it was $5 per transaction.

They operate from a van on the side of the road. The staff were very nice but it is a very dodgy operation. The car was a very old commodore in poor condition with about 190k kms on it. The rental car was parked on the street. I don’t think they actually have an office they just have cars parked on the side of the road that they rent out. Would not use again.

Drop off was to a random, empty, very dark lot where we sat for 15 minutes before finally getting through to someone then waited another 10-15 minutes to be collected. NU Car Rental operates by Andy's rental car which is a good company. To pick pick up the car it was easy and everything went smoothly. The car already had some scratches but it doesn't interfere at its performance.
