Avis attempted to push me to pay more by refusing me the car I booked. No BMW3, no Audi 3/4 no mercedes C. Only options take a BMW7 series and Audi 8 or a criterion. Either that or take an opel model which lower than what I booked. This is a flagrant attempt to force me to take a higher cost model.

Pickup was at the airport waiting area, very convenient. The car arrived quickly, picked up me and a Málaga mom with a two-month-old baby, and took us to the rental store, which was about a 5-minute drive. The entire rental process was smooth, and the car worked great for the ten or so days I used it. The local mom told me this is not a new company; she has been renting from them for years, and it's a reliable company. Returning the car was also very easy. Remember to return the car with a full tank.

I order Audi A3. I was expected sedan. They provide not sedan, not Audi, just some other car and hatchback. NO space for a baggage. I requested another car, sedan. They gave again hatchback. No space. 5 people of us. They sad that Audi A3 is hatchback too. Finally we choose small SUV with manual transmission instead of paid automatic for the same money. The engine was so weak, it was a terrible driving, especially to the hill. It was a terrible experience for drop - off. They trying to put on me the existing scratches. They didn't report them anywhere when I pick up the car. They didn't check the car before giving to me.

Arrived at counter at 11.20pm and kept waiting until 12.30am as there weren't enough staff available for the number of collections (Avis & Budget). There was no option to check in using a kiosk machine. After complaining about the long wait I did receive an upgrade in car class.

Very satisfied. Upon arrival at the airport, I called, and the lady quickly came to pick me up. During the car rental process, she only asked once if I had bought insurance. When I said yes, she didn't ask further. The car handover was quick, and they gave me a vehicle that had only been driven a little over 1,000 kilometers.

I would say that OK Rent A Car, are by far the best of the companies at Malaga airport, the service is great and the cars are always immaculate with no fuss. Booked an SUV and got the Peugeot 3008 which is a very nice car full of all mod cons. Very pleased.

Picking up this car was a bad experience. Waited close to an hour for their shuttle from the airport, then another hour at the counter. Their staff and system were totally overwhelmed, unprepared and dysfunctional. One of the worst car rental experiences I've had in years of renting vehicles all over the world.

The car was fine, it was a VW T-Cross instead of the Audi Q2 I was expecting. It was pretty scuffed up on the exterior, but this was already confirmed by them. The engine was pretty underpowered for the hilly roads in Marbella however. They made an error on calculating my mileage for when I returned the car, which came out to 15 thousand kilometers driven in 5 days! So they sent me an invoice for over 6300 euros in excess kilometers. Obviously I contacted their customer support to dispute this and fix the error but I did not hear back from them for 2 days. I then contacted them by telephone at which points they informed me that the error was already corrected. That was a relief to hear, but then why was I not informed of this correction via email? They will also try to upsell you their insurance package even when you have already purchased full insurance via Qeeq, claiming that only their own insurance is adequate, and if you do not choose it they will pre-charge 1400 euros from your credit card as a security deposit. Pretty ridiculous, but Goldcar is not the only one to do this.

Booked a Nissan Qashqai or similar, they did not have any cars in this category left (DISAPPOINTING) so they had to upgrade me to the next category which was NOT an upgrade at all, the 7 seater category and I got a DACIA Lodgy more like a work van, car was awful and very used, with many scuffs dents and scrapes. Eventually swopped for a Qashqai at another location a couple of days later as I had booked this car for a few weeks.

It was good overall. Had to queue for about ten minutes before picking up the car, during which they briefly pitched some extra services. When returning the car, they barely checked its exterior condition. It's true that only Visa or Mastercard chip cards are acceptable; I ended up using a UK debit card to collect the car. (Debit cards might incur currency conversion fees.)

Very satisfied. The staff reminded us to purchase full insurance when renting the car. I recommend buying full insurance for peace of mind if you've had accidents driving in China. If you have good driving habits and have never had an accident, basic insurance should suffice.

Although we were reserved a Seat Leon they provided us with a Seat Arona which wasn't as good. The car itself was fine. The only thing to note is that when you take the car away they ask you to take photos of damage that was pre existing and it doesn't say anywhere on the documentation that there is damage.

Interrent, owned by GoldCar owned by Europcar. I always find that when you book with Interrent rather than Goldcar you get a superior car or at least one with better spec. I booked a BMW 1 Series or similar, I could not have been happier with what I received, Brand New Mercedes Benz C-Class Auto, immaculate car in red. One of the best cars I have ever driven, full of new technology and incredibly smooth to drive.

Interrent pressured me into paying 299 Euro insurance after informing me the 1400 Euro would be taken even if there was the slightest scratch on the car when it was returned. Fuel deposit of 110 Euro was excessive. Dd not receive Qashqai but a larger Peugeot. They would not inspect car on return to verify I had refilled. Would never use again, totally felt ripped off.

The attitude of the counter staff was very poor with threats of financial penalty when costs for additional insurance cover was declined. Said that my World wide multi excess cover taken many times before was not valid. Counter staff were terrible. They were rude, unhelpful and aggressive. They were dishonest in order to sell us additional insurance and became angry when we wouldn't take out their insurance. The staff were clearly speaking about us rudely to each other assuming that we wouldn't understand the language. The manager was also rude and aggressive. Awful experience.

We looked for Rhodium and Easyrentcars but couldn't see them. We had to ask at another desk who pointed us to 'Gold'. Not sure which company we used, or which was responsible for what. The booking form promised a VW Transporter (ie an empty van) but the rental desk said could either have a choice of minibuses. As the seats folded down, this was ok. Because of the size of the vehicle, the man said it would be ok to return to Level 0, so as not to bother driving round the sharp bends to Level -2. However, the lady at the returns office said no, they needed it returned to level -2. Apart from that, all was good.

The pick up was very difficult as I had received no map or directions and I didn’t know there was a shuttle bus. I used a taxi, who also struggled to find ‘Amigo Autos’ as it was inside a car rental building called OK Car Rentals (confusing).

Like: I had booked Ford Kuga Intermediate SUV from EasyRentcars website. The rental company was Autoclick for 7 days rental for about total of 71 euros. I paid additional to the hire company for emergency roadside assistance and additional fees for taking the car to Gibraltar; however that was a waste as we went to Gibraltar by foot and used their public transport. The excess insurance was taken separately from other website. On arrival at Malaga airport, we had a bit of difficulty in finding the coach stop to board the Autoclick Shuttle. But from there on it was all as expected. The car offered to us was near new Ford Kuga 2.0 titanium. Inbuilt GPS and Bluetooth integration. The best in its class..! The car was spotless inside and out. The deal was a no hassle full to full tank. On return of the car - it was again very quick and very professional. Overall we had a very good trip and thanks to both EasyRentcars and Autoclick for such a wonderful experience.

The rental location is a bit far from the airport, but there's a Mini Bus shuttle service, so it's still quite convenient. The car was great and there were no issues during the trip.
