It took nearly 45 minutes to wait in line at the Avis counter in Charlotte Airport for processing the car pickup, and when I went to get the car, I found out it had already been taken by another customer. I had to go back to the counter to handle it again. The work efficiency is truly disappointing.

No upselling throughout the process, provided a brand-new SUV with the latest features. However, the gas tank is quite small, only 400 miles capacity. This location struggled with efficiency during peak flight times; waited for an hour and a half without a car, and it seemed they ended up buying new cars at the last minute.

When we arrived there, were no cars available similar to what we had reserved. We were thinking we´d need to upgrade and pay the difference. This was frustrating. Somehow at the end, a customer who had come ahead of us was unable to rent their car and we were able to take that one. Staff was kind and professional the whole way.

There was a bit of a cue at the counter, but the people at enterprise worked their way through them pretty quickly. The car pick up was smooth and quick, we could pick our rental ourselves, as long as we stayed within our category of car booked. Return was also very quick, lots of people checking in the cars from enterprise, so it was fast, even though many checked in.

The location is not easily identifiable. Once there, the pickup was rather normal. The van had multiple scrapes and dings on the exterior and the interior looked dingy. The vehicle did drive well though. Drop off was initially attempted prior to open hours. Drop box in front of building but gate to parking lot was closed/locked with no directions to a back entrance that staff later claimed was available. I was only listed driver and unable to drop the rental off due to the gate. Had my wife return the rental when location opened because I had an appointment elsewhere. Staff for return was very unprofessional and wanted to charge fee cause someone other than me drove to return the vehicle. No customer service skills.

Asked for a mid size and got a mini an that was their shuttle van. They used a local small car rental outfit. No one the airport k ew where they would pick up. Shuttle finally came after 30 mins and then there was a 20 min drive to find they didn't have a car and gave us their shuttle minivan. Also on return didn't return the full deposit until I asked why.

They persuaded me to buy the service of returning the car without refueling.

The experience of picking up the car was far from what I imagined, where I could just submit a reservation code and get the car directly. They asked about various services, and with limited English skills, I ended up unknowingly adding several services.
