The rental service staff were relatively inefficient. The two German locals ahead of me took nearly half an hour to complete their rental process, chatting while handling the paperwork, without considering the queue behind them. However, when it was my turn, the process took only 10 minutes. The first car had some issues, but they quickly replaced it with another one. Overall, their service attitude was still good.

The car was fine, but the staff at the store were full of tricks. They kept pushing me to buy insurance. When I tried to pay with Apple Pay, they insisted it was linked to their insurance agreement, saying I had to pay €58 for insurance to use mobile payment. I didn't bother arguing since I was in a hurry, so I ended up buying it.

additional charges were outrages! i was late for the pick up cause of canceled flight, delayed train ride etc. So first i was convinced it was their after working hours so i will be charged! then they have had some nicer cars where i can pick for an upgrade where i was charged 30% then realized they dont even have my prefred calls and would have to give me one of the upgrades anyway. then i was told they will wvae the addtional after hours service charge however what i see in my invoice is addtional charges and plus taxes on those charges... finally i pay more then the rental value that i paid to QeeQ to addtional service cahrges to rent the car! what is a service fee if your job is to supply a rental car? i will never ever pick a car from either Hertz or Thrifty!

Like: The staff was so kind and we got the car so soon, with just 500 KM used (that is amazing).
Dislike: I reserved a Mercedes-Benz C-Class (Premium Class), when I went to the station they told me that car is not available, but they didn't give me other cars in the same class (the same class is BMW 328 or Audi A3 ...) I got an Alfa Romeo Giulia that was so good but that was not at the same class with my reserved car.

Picking up the car was very convenient, no need to wait in line at the counter, and the procedures were very efficient. I booked a Benz A-Class automatic, but received an Opel automatic SUV instead, which was larger with a mileage of 15,000 km and in excellent condition. The car came with built-in navigation and a USB charging port, very practical.

The customer service agent at pick up was extremely rude. I called the service hotline 2 hours prior to arrival to say that our flight was going to be delayed, I was reassured that the my message will be passed on and budget staff would track the flights and stay up to 2 hours after the opening times if needed . We arrived at the counter 2 minutes after they officially closed, luckily bumping into the lady on her way out. She told us that the counter is now closed, no one told her about flight delays (although I added the flight number to the booking) and she can not re-open for us and that it was not her problem. Only after 10 minutes of persuasion she agreed to open the desk again - which took her less than a minute. When dropping the car off they tried to charge me an additional €80 without explaining why (I had payed the booking already). I refused to pay and it turned out that budget tried to charge me for a deposit for fuel although I returned the car with a full tank. Overall a disappointing experience - I will not book with budget again.

Upon arrival, the customer service personnel will scare you by saying that because you didn't buy insurance here, any scratch will cost you 800 euros. It feels exaggerated.

Like: Quick process for picking up and returning car. Helpful staff and good value for money.
Dislike: As all new cars come with GPS as standard it should not be classed as an extra cost in car rentals.

The condition of the car was excellent, 12000km, the model was upgraded, but it wasn't a free upgrade - they did charge extra for the model upgrade. However, the fee wasn't very high and was acceptable. Returning the car was very smooth and the paperwork was simple. I just don't know when the deposit pre-authorization will be refunded!

The guy at the counter said there were no manual cars available, so he upgraded me to an automatic. After completing the paperwork, he personally took me to the car and explained all the road signs.

The worst experience ever. I would not recommend this car company unless you want to be ripped off. The supervisor was the rudest person I have ever come across. They charged us 330 pounds for scratch which wasn’t there, didnt want to sort out the problem even that we had several photos taken before drop off (car was in excellent condition). They charged my card and they basically said i have to pay the damage. Fortunately we purchased the premium insurance, but still didnt get full refund (9quid still missing).

The staff added a GPS fee without saying a word! 147 euros! Zuzuche offers free GPS, which we didn't even request. Who needs their GPS? It's simply a scam!
