There was no car rental office at the train station. We had to call the rental company from Moscow to find out, and waited at least 40 minutes for them to bring the car. There was no prior notice. Due to unfamiliar roads, we parked just a few steps away from the drop-off point and were charged a 300 ruble parking fee. Bad experience!
The car got broken (gear system, no movement), without any cause, and had to be evacuated to a service centre. My day with important appointments was lost.
The car has been replaced but it took time and caused inconveniences, including financial ones.
My reclamation to Rentmotors stayed without any comment, neither apologies nor any suggestion for compensation.
The car pick-up and return processes are simple. The staff is efficient and doesn't push any sales. The experience was excellent! Everything was clearly explained! The city drop-off location is convenient, with a gas station right next to it!
The car pickup process was quick, and we didn't have to buy additional insurance.
Returning the car was smooth as well. Although we washed the car the day before, it got dirty again on the return day due to heavy rain. I apologized because the contract stated the car should be in the same condition as when picked up, but the staff said no problem.
At Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow, I encountered a handsome guy who spoke excellent English. He was sincere, enthusiastic, and provided efficient service. He even walked me to the parking lot exit to generate a payment card before leaving. I am very grateful and satisfied.
The staff at the pickup point was quite attentive and personally took us to the car lot. He carefully checked for surface issues before handing over the car and marked even minor scratches.
I booked early to pick up the car at 9 AM on September 9th, but there was no staff at the office even at 10 AM. No one answered the phone either. Finally, at 11 AM, a staff member arrived from the airport location.
A deposit of 45,000 rubles was deducted on October 5th. I returned the car on October 7th with no incidents, but as of today, November 17th, the deposit has not been returned. I have sent multiple emails to Europcar customer service with no response. The after-sales service of QEEQ is also very slow. I will never choose Europcar again!
I booked a Tiguan but received a Nissan SUV. The car was clean and tidy. Thought I would pick up the car from the rental office, but it was delivered to the train station instead. There was an additional charge for this delivery, which was not mentioned before. The pick-up location did not match the one indicated online, and it took me an hour and a half to find the car. The contract was entirely in Russian, which I couldn't understand.
Naprokat does not have an office at the airport! We had to pick up the car in the parking lot. The address on the QEEQ order was fake.
The rental was scheduled for 19:00. Starting from 18:30, we called several times and always received a reply to wait another 5-10 minutes. It took six or seven calls before we finally got the car at 20:30.
The car we received was newer and larger than expected, with only 5,000 kilometers on it.
This company's location is easy to find and the service is excellent. Although the front desk attendant's English wasn't fluent, he used an English-Russian translation app very smoothly, so communication wasn't an issue. The car was in great condition, very new and clean. They won't try to upsell you unnecessary things. The guy I talked to on the phone spoke excellent English and I finally met him when returning the car. He was tall and handsome; not sure if he's rich. He was also very efficient. Russia is a beautiful and great country, perfect for a road trip!
