It was easy to find the Avis store at Moscow airport. A tall Russian guy who speaks fluent English assisted us. The rented Tiguan wasn't available initially, so they offered a Skoda. However, we found that the window controls were broken. Since there were no other suitable cars at the location, he contacted another store in Moscow. Realizing the peak hours, he suggested we drive to our hotel first. Later, his colleague drove a new Mercedes SUV to our hotel and exchanged the car there. He even demonstrated how to exit the airport gate for us and stayed until we understood. Just as we were checking in at the hotel, his colleague arrived with the Mercedes. The windshield got chipped by a stone during our trip, but when we returned, the inspection and billing process was quick.
