Overall not bad, few people and the car was new. The customer service at the German airport was friendly. However, when I asked about buying the Austrian highway pass, they strongly recommended a €140 package that included insurance, claiming it would cover highway fees and that Austrian insurance was very expensive. But since I already had full coverage, they eventually left the decision to me, so I only purchased the €7 per day highway pass. Remember, they can sell you the highway pass directly, so there’s no need to go to a gas station; just ask them.

I booked a Mercedes-Benz automatic business car in March, but when I went to the store on the morning of June 18 to pick up the car, they gave me a manual car, which I couldn’t drive at all. They also informed me that there were no automatic business cars available across all AVIS locations in Germany that day. I am extremely disappointed with such a large company being so unreliable. This seriously disrupted our travel plans.

Thanks to Sixt's service, I was able to return the car smoothly. Due to road closures and traffic jams, and being in a rush to catch a train, I didn’t have time to refuel. However, Sixt proactively informed me that they wouldn’t charge double the fuel price. That said, Sixt's customer service hotline was impossible to get through. When I finally managed to connect, I was told they couldn’t speak English.

Phone customer service agreed but there was no recording, so there was nowhere to argue when the rental company charged the money. Even if there was a recording, complaining abroad is difficult. The email from Zuzuche clearly stated 'Original driver's license and any translation, which can be processed through the Zuzuche platform.' However, when picking up the car, they claimed the translation must be issued by the Zuzuche platform. As a result, we were charged an additional 162 euros for insurance for two cars. Zuzuche kept shifting the blame, insisting it was the car rental company's issue. After returning to China, I contacted Zuzuche again, only to be told that signing the documents at the pickup counter indicated agreement, leaving no room for appeal. I want to say that as a foreigner unfamiliar with the place, I had no choice but to sign. Refusing would mean no car, and finding another car last-minute would have been even more expensive. I've rented cars abroad many times, but I’ve never encountered such an unscrupulous scheme. It seems their tactic is to lure customers with low prices and charge high at the end.

The route was easy to find. The underground parking garage was easy to enter and exit. The car, with 23,000 kilometers, was in pretty good condition. Both picking up and returning the car were very convenient with minimal waiting time. Communication was smooth. Additional cost for the destination in Austria was 30 euros, and adding an extra driver cost 70 euros, which is a bit expensive. Everything else was fine.

Very dissatisfied, both with the car rental company and the platform. Initially, I switched to a cheaper car for the last few days of my trip abroad, in case I needed some transportation. The location was not difficult to find, but the pickup suggestions provided by the platform were extremely unreasonable. The car was handed over to me right after the previous customer returned it, without any cleaning process. The car's condition was very poor, so I took multiple videos to avoid disputes. After driving 500 meters onto the highway, a tire pressure warning appeared. Upon returning home, I contacted the rental company, and they acknowledged it was a sensor issue. However, on German highways where speeds exceed 150 km/h, no one would risk their safety. The next day, I returned the car early and requested to terminate the contract. The rental company said they needed to consult their boss, and then things became ridiculous. When I contacted the platform, without understanding the situation, they blamed me for not signing certain documents with the rental company. Honestly, the money involved wasn’t a lot, and previous rentals provided good cars. But when issues arose, the platform's service was truly shocking. It’s been five days now with no updates. In the future, I'll rent directly from car rental companies.

They kept pushing insurance and the cross-border fee was twice the suggested price. There was no personnel for vehicle handover, the vehicle provided wasn't the one reserved, and it had multiple noticeable scratches that weren't marked. We had to go back to the rental place, wasting a lot of time. There was a mileage limit that wasn't mentioned, and there was no mutual verification of the mileage data. The charge for excess mileage should be communicated and signed off in advance. There was no mileage check when returning the car either. The deposit has not been released two weeks after returning the car, and there are unclear charges. The responsibilities are not clearly defined, making the customer very dissatisfied. Why is the cross-border fee so expensive without a clear standard?

The car we were given was actually a Hertz car, not a Dollar one. Everything was fine, other than when we picked up the car, the guy at the rental counter in Munich specifically said it was a diesel car. Part through through our trip, we needed to fill up with fuel, nbut the diesel nozzle didn't fit the tank. The tank suggested it was petrol. We called Hertz to ask what to do, We were told that the records stated diesel and "good luck". we spent a lot of time trying to decode the VIN numkber, but that didn't help, we researched the make / model of the car (Ford Kuga) online but that din't help either. We were close to going to a Ford dealer to get their help but it was the weekend. So in the end we filled up with petrol and everythingwas fine. When we returned the car to Frankfurt, the person who greeted us told us it was a petrol car. Your records for this vehicle need to be cahnged, or at least not have your counter staff tell customers incorrect info. Other than that, the car was excellent

From the moment I arrived in Munich to pick up the car, Thrifty left an impression of simple and fast procedures. The female staff at the counter was kind and friendly. The vehicle was fuel-efficient and reliable, and there were no issues during the trip. Here I give a thumbs-up. When returning the car, I was unsure how to handle the €1000 pre-authorization. My English is not very good, and I had a confusing conversation with a male staff member at the counter. He became a bit impatient after a while, but then another male staff member took over and patiently explained everything in detail again. I got the gist of it. Overall, we are very satisfied with the excellent service provided by QEEQ and Thrifty. Thank you. For future travels, QEEQ and Thrifty will still be our first choice for car rental.

The car was not in good condition, even though it was fairly new. It started showing faults not long after we began driving.
