The car was quite new, with only 12,000 kilometers driven when picked up, and very fuel-efficient. After driving 1,800 kilometers, I only refueled twice while maintaining a full tank for return. However, when faced with poor vehicle conditions, it was almost impossible to get assistance. In the past, I usually chose well-known international rental companies like Europe or Hertz for international trips. This time, I opted for this company mainly for convenience with cross-border travel, but the service was really disappointing—perhaps that’s just how service is in Serbia. During business hours, repeatedly calling the contact number provided for pickup resulted in no one answering or the calls being hung up, which was extremely frustrating. Luckily, after comparing rental platforms, I firmly opted for Zuzuche, which provided quick and effective assistance throughout the process.

This is our second time renting a car from Carwiz. We are already familiar with the process. The small branch is located next to the sports arena, and it was easy to find with navigation. Take note of the operating hours in Serbia; it's best to pick up or return the car between 9 AM and 2 PM. Otherwise, they may consider it outside working hours and charge additional fees! Make sure to use your own credit card when picking up the car.

The return inspection was so meticulous that it seemed they were deliberately looking for flaws. No other car rental company in other countries does this. There were two tiny marks that could be polished off with wax; they might have been there when I picked up the car. A normal person wouldn't see them without a magnifying glass. Luckily, I had insurance. Overall, I don't recommend this company.

The car pickup process was relatively smooth, but unfortunately, they didn't have the Golf I wanted. I had never seen a Citroën C3 in China before and initially felt it wasn't a good choice. However, after driving on mountain roads, I realized it performed quite well. They didn’t push any additional paid services. In Bosnia, the police informed us about two speeding tickets unrelated to our rental period. We reported this to the rental company via the QEEQ platform. When returning the car, the rental company was aware of the situation and assured us it was not our concern. Hopefully, there won’t be any hidden charges.

The originally booked car model was unavailable, and only two options were provided—one could only seat two people, so we had to reluctantly accept a larger model. Moreover, the insurance for the larger model was extremely expensive. Additionally, there were no clear indications that the main driver couldn't be changed on-site. Since the person who made the reservation wasn't the main driver, we had to pay extra to add a secondary driver.

The Zuzuche platform is great, but the Avis company is really disappointing. At the pickup, they insisted my credit card was a debit card. I've used this credit card for over 10 years, what is there to argue about? Then they said it’s fine, as long as I purchase full insurance, they would accept it. At that moment, I understood their game. Full insurance cost 110,000 dinars, which is roughly over 7,000 RMB. With no other choice, I had to reluctantly agree since I was already there.

Hello, Very bad experience with Budjet Serbia! While getting the car they obligated me to pay extra charge of 30Euro for that they called extra hours open office. We got the car around 23.00 while their office is open 24/7 and nothing like this condition not appeared in our contract. After returning the car Budget send us invoice with charging additional 12Euro tax. After writing to the their service for clarification this, they explained this additional charge for returning the car without washing it! We absolutely cleaned inside the car and also the local guy got the car without any notes or claims but washing outside it’s looks like unacceptable demand! I wrote mail to their local costumer service and got very disappointed answer that all described above is like costumer duty. I was shocked from service like this from big company like Budget. I expect help from QEEQ to solve these issues and get a refund 42Euro (30+12) that knowing before renting these unexpected charges, could change my decision to book the car via QEEQ. Overall, it was quite good. We had an early flight, and although the office officially opened at 8 AM, they started processing at 7:35 AM without any extra fees. They acknowledged that we already had insurance and did not try to upsell us. Both pickup and drop-off went smoothly without unnecessary delays or hassles. The only downside was that they gave me a Hyundai economy car instead of the Polo I requested since it was unavailable. Honestly, driving it wasn’t ideal, but the car was very new, with only 20,000 kilometers on it, so I accepted it reluctantly. In Bosnia and Herzegovina’s mountainous roads, a diesel car would be better. This small car struggled a bit but managed to complete the journey. As of now, the deposit pre-authorization hasn’t been lifted yet, and I reckon it’ll take another month.

Because we had a lot of luggage, we rented a B-class car but were given an A180 instead. There wasn't enough space for our luggage; we had to place one suitcase in the back seat. The staff kept pushing us to buy insurance, but we ignored them as we had already purchased coverage in our home country. When picking up the car, they told us they had video evidence of the car's condition. Due to the hot weather and thinking Payless, being part of Avis, wouldn't have poor service, we took a quick video and left. When we returned the car, they directed us to park in a well-lit spot for inspection and found scratches. They denied having any video evidence. When we showed our video, they claimed it was too bright to see clearly and didn't accept it. Lesson learned: always thoroughly document the car's condition and take clear photos and videos. The temperature on the pickup day was 39°C, and it was too hot to be diligent. It seems Avis has a low rating for a reason.

The rental process and the service of the staff during the car inspection were decent. However, the reserved Ford Focus Wagon was unavailable, and instead, they provided a Skoda Rapid with over 130,000 kilometers, countless scratches and dents on the body, and a cracked rear-right wheel rim. Honestly, it was quite disappointing. I drove the car very cautiously and completed the trip with constant worry. Serbia's infrastructure is underdeveloped and the road conditions are poor. I'll choose a major rental company next time.

The car rental company's counter was easy to find, the staff were friendly and provided detailed information, but there were a lot of people so we had to wait quite a while. After completing the paperwork and payment, we went to the parking lot to find a staff member in a green uniform who pointed out any existing damage on the vehicle before we signed off. You need to return the car with a full tank of gas, otherwise there will be additional charges. However, we were very dissatisfied with this car; the engine noise was unbelievably loud. Driving at around 20 mph, it sounded like driving over 100 in my own car, even with all the windows closed. Serbian drivers are very fast, so we naturally tended to accelerate, and at over 100 mph, the noise was unbearable. This was an extremely bad experience.

We arrived on Saturday and the queue was extremely long to pick up the car, with only one person working at the pickup desk and another at the car park. The people in front of me in the queue had damaged their car and I ended up waiting almost 2h to get my car. But once I collected it, everything went fine. The drop off was on a Tuesday and it was very quick, as there was no queue, no one had any issues and two staff worked both at the desk and outside. I will use them again.
