Highly satisfied with the car rental process. Picking up and returning the car were smooth, but there is an additional airport parking fee. Initially, I booked a Citroën, but they gave me a Hyundai of the same class instead. The Hyundai was not up to expectations - it felt underpowered, and the driver assistance features couldn't be turned off. Although it was a new car, it didn't feel very good. The rental company charged a deposit as a transaction, not a pre-authorization, and it took a month for it to be canceled. I was quite worried during that period.

Average, they required a €1600 pre-authorization, which is outrageous. Ended up with a Peugeot 3008, the car was rather old with over 50,000 kilometers on it, and it lacked a rearview camera and Bluetooth.

Unsatisfied with the process. Picking up the car took an extremely long time, even though there were only two customers ahead of us. The staff were very slow. When it was my turn, I couldn't pay with my credit card because they only had one POS machine, and it wouldn't work. They insisted that I had to buy their insurance, forcing me to purchase insurance for over 180 euros. Additionally, after they charged my debit card, they haven't refunded the 200-euro deposit even after more than a month. When I followed up, they claimed it was refunded, but my bank insists the transaction was never completed. Is this place a scam? As of now, my deposit is still not returned.

It was okay, but the car's condition was quite average. I guess it was because I rented it late, and it was probably the last automatic small car available. There were around 20 to 30 defects on the exterior.

Avoid renting a car from Hertz at all costs. If negative ratings were possible, I would definitely give them one. When returning the car, they claimed there was a scratch on the left side of the car and charged me 250 euros. It's clearly a scam since the scratch was already there. I picked up the car at around 10 PM—a blue-gray vehicle parked in a tight space between other cars. The scratch was very minor and barely visible in the dim lighting. It was only after driving the car out that we noticed it and took photos. However, the rental company refused to accept these photos since they were not taken at the exact moment of pickup. I have rented cars in over 40 countries without experiencing anything like this. It was my first time renting from Hertz, and I feel cheated. After checking their reviews, I realized most are negative. Avoid renting from them at all costs.

It's cheap, but if you don't have a credit card, you must buy their insurance, which costs more than the car rental itself. Plus, even with the insurance, there's still a €250 deductible. The car had a small scratch on the headlight, and they charged me €200 for it, even though there were previous scratches near that area. Luckily, I had other insurance to cover this; otherwise, I would've been scammed.

Dear Sirs, they made an outrageous extortion of fines. We have not scratched the wheel cover - and all tires were black when the car was returned - so how come Surprice rent company sent us a picture where one wheel has now mark made with white chalk- pretending to be street paint - it is impossible to run into a curb and make this mark - to square. The wheel is always rotating so no such marks are possible - basic geometry. This is a simple false claim on car rental company side - and extortion of fines. (do they do it to every car that has not purchased overinflated insurance with Surprice rent?) And they charge 100 eur for a car wheel cover!!!! I will post proper opinions on several websites about this case. And Qeeq should look into this matter - if you are interested - we can send pictures - just to which email? Car quality - good. Inspection showed several scarves what is a downsize for a minicar with 21000km only. Manual transition is in poor condition. Rest is fine or perfect. Office - basic office, some staff roaming around. Up-sell is a must here so better be prepared for assertive approach. Apart from that no other comments. Costs - the rate was good so I chose them. They blocked EUR 1200 + EUR 150 for fines. Get it back within 72hrs after drop off. Inspection is quick but I left power charger in the car and they haven't replied. My bad.

My experience of car rental in Malta turned out OK. On collection of the car the rental company charged a location fee I was not aware of. The car itself was disappointing, very damaged inside and out. Seemed to be an old car, 65000 miles on the clock, not normally what you expect with rental cars. Other than that I had no problems with fuel or any other aspect of the rental, lots of reviews for this company in Malta were not very good, I did not have a problem. Qeeq got the location charge returned when I got back.

Good service but very confusing to find. They told us to go to the upper floor of the airport but their office wasn't there; upon calling them, we were told to wait at the taxi area to be picked up and driven to the actual location (some 10 minutes away by car). They were quick once we got there.

1. I paid for a DS3 or similar, they give me a 108, or the similar of a DS3 is a 208. 2. I had already an insurance with my credit card. But the renter didn't care and give me 2 solutions. First, did a deposit of 1100€ but i hadn't got this on my credit card, or second, paid 110€ and blocked 200€ on my credit card. So i was obliged to take the 2nd solution. I am very desappointed about this experience. I won't recommand this society

Tried to give us a smaller car than we had booked, after an already long wait. Then said they’d look for a bigger car - it took 45 mins to be confirmed they had one, then another 20 mins for it to be delivered. Got to the car park and there were lots of the vehicle type we had been allocated and we were given the oldest, most dilapidated car possible - high mileage, stained seats and interior, missing wing mirror cover, steering wheel was worn, poor fitting boot liner. It was a mess! We figured at least they wouldn’t notice any damage as there was no space left to damage! Wouldn’t book through them again.

Counter staff were very pleasant and helpful. The cars body work was in poor condition (scratches,dents, body trim missing). The service indicator on the dashboard was on. The cars running performance was very poor it had a problem with it. We didn’t report this until we dropped car off at end of our stay, because we were only staying for a few days and didn’t want this to have any impact on the time we had on the island.

Would not use again, Prepaid all costs upfront for a Skoda Estate or similar - they tried to give me a Suzuki Baleno. Then charged me additional Vat and Taxes plus a mandatory prepaid fuel service which I did not want.
