With an international driver's license, the process is straightforward—they don't even try to upsell you insurance. I personally requested full coverage, and they directly waived the deposit. You just take the keys and can start driving. When returning the car, you only need to hand over the keys, and they will take you back to the airport.

The AVIA staff were very professional and explained everything clearly. The guides led us to the parking lot to pick up the car, and the vehicle was in great condition with just over 17,000 kilometers. We were upgraded from a Volkswagen Golf to a Peugeot 3008. However, there were long lines at the AVIA counter while other counters were relatively empty. The rental company is reliable and worth recommending to friends.

The process went smoothly, and the car was very new. I originally wanted a Fiat 500, but I got a Fiat Panda with over 2000 kilometers, which is an upgrade. Unfortunately, the Panda doesn't look as good, and the clutch is hard to press. I bought full insurance at the store, which was more expensive than online.

All was good with the service. Had two issues with the new MB A Class. Need to add 1 liter of engine oil 30 min after I rented the car. After that I had an error for the back seat airbag sensor. Didn't change the car because I was the only passenger. I was offered another bcar the next day.

I liked that they checked the car with me on pickup and on return so there was total transparency of minor existing scratches. The diesel car proved very economical on fuel so we were able to visit Plitvice Lakes without high fuel costs. Very friendly staff. Would definitely hire from Active again.
