The store is right across the street from the airport, just a short walk away, and returning the car is directly on the way to the terminal. The car was almost brand new, with just over 8,000 km on the clock. Thankfully it had built-in GPS, because on the last day, right before returning the car, all our phones lost data for no reason—both China Telecom and China Mobile totally failed us—but in the end everything went smoothly. The car had plenty of power for uphill drives too.

The service during the pickup was excellent, with the staff member providing outstanding assistance. Regrettably, my car was involved in an accident caused by another party. I promptly acquired both the police and insurance reports, and the insurance company efficiently handled the situation. The car's front bumper, which is a single piece, sustained damage. Typically, there's a 150 EUR fee for such damage. However, upon returning the car, I noticed an additional scratch on the opposite side of the same bumper. The employee on duty, who was different from the initial one, insisted that I pay for this new damage. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, he was quite discourteous. Following a discussion with his colleague, he eventually decided to waive the damage fee "just this time". In summary, it seemed like an attempt to unjustly charge me an additional 150 EUR, which I found unacceptable.

The car did not exceed my expectations. The Surprise rent a car staff was not helpful at all! They made me pay car insurance twice!!! And in the drop off day they tried to get more money from me accusing me of scratching the car - which was false - and even if it was true it was covered by the insurance!!! Very disappointed! (I had rented from them before - but this time it was a disaster). The rented car it was almost out of gasoline and they didn’t care about it!

When we arrive to surprice office, even if we did full insurance, they want to sell us again insurance. And we paid extra 75 euro for 5 days. And they said, if we dont pay they will not rent car to us. It was terrible experience with surprice services.

Company had to come and give me another car as the car broke down. They still have me an old car again. Company charged me for a police fine which I had not got. I got the car at 19:00 and the fine did not have time on it as to when it was given. The fine must of been given on the earlier on the day but there was no time on the fine so they said I got it. More to the fine, the fine was given to a destination which I did not travel to on my trip. I asked the company to look at the car gps to see where it had been but they didn’t and they just charged my credit card. I am still waiting for the dispute. I will never never rent from this company again. Unhelpful, unfriendly, thief’s, taking money out of customers for there fault.

Price agreed 6 months in advance was increased from 375dollar to over 800 dollar, Terrible customer service,they said that was within T@C but couldn’t point where that is on T@C What’s the point of booking a car in advance if they have the right to increase the price. Strangling at 2 am in the morning with kids and luggage and no where to go.
