We booked a mid sized car but they didn’t have any. As I’m 6 foot 5 almost 2 metres tall I asked for larger car instead. They didn’t have any. I have bad back and need big seat. They offered free tank and no license fee which I wasn’t expecting. We had a lot of driving that why I needed good car. We had polo and my head was touching roof not good!!

We arrived at the EuropeCar parking garage, but there was no one there. Staff from another company helped us contact them; they received the message but ignored it. When we finally found their office, there was only one staff member. Their attitude was okay.

Like: Very nice car
Dislike: Two things. First: I live in Finland and I have a cottage in Estonia. Why I must change car when I go to my cottage ? I thought Europecar is a real EU car. I see no risk espasially when I did order a non expensive car. Second: I always order my car before I come to Finland thruough internet. Why you use the currency of the country where I am ? I always loose currency change money if I need to change my reservation.

Horrible. It was agreed at QEEQ a deposit of 1017€ and they charged 1500€. More they even didn’t care about the info that I have sent regarding the info and threatened me that If I didn’t pay they will not handle the car keys. Then charged me 75€ of arriving late knowing that it was my plane delayed. The worst of all was that they said that they need to charge the delayed fee because the office was closed but when delivering the car , it was on opening hours and the office was also closed and none to take care of the returning of the deposit. They kidnapped the deposit amount for 5 working days because they said that they need to see if there is speeding tickets or whatever. Very poor service.

I chose a rental location from the QEEQ map that was supposedly only 600 meters away from Helsinki Central Station, but the actual address was 6.3 kilometers away. QEEQ should correct this to avoid misunderstandings. I had to call Avis to arrange for the car to be relocated to a branch almost one kilometer away from the station (since Avis only has this branch near the Helsinki station, and it’s not 600 meters away). We dragged our luggage to the branch, where the staff warmly welcomed us and upgraded our car to an automatic transmission for free.

Took ages to find the scandia rent desk at Helsinki airport not with other car hier rental desk. Then ages to walk to the car park at the petrol station at the far side of the airport. On return to said car park there was no one to leave keys with and no answer on the phone numbers given so hanging around trying to find someone to take keys back. Not sure the total yaris we were supplied with should be in the same vehicle class as the VW polo we booked?

No instructions of where the service counter of Scandia Rent was in Helsinki airport. It was not where the the agencies were.

The service from the staff at scandia Rent was superb. The team member spoke great English he was polite and explained everything very clearly. I was able to compete the booking and reservation within 10 minutes.
