The process was handled inside the airport, and picking up and returning the car was very convenient as it was done in the airport parking lot. The gentleman assisting with the paperwork was friendly, professional, and efficient, completing the process in just a few minutes. The car was almost brand new and in excellent condition. Overall, it was a very satisfying car rental experience.

CARHIRE does not have its own reception; I forgot which rental company is acting as its agent. The vehicle condition is relatively old. They are the only company that rents cars to people with domestic licenses, which is quite unusual. Locals drive recklessly, frequently changing lanes and turning without signals, so it takes some time to get used to it. The road conditions are poor, and the city is very congested.

Checked some car rental guides for Baku beforehand, not many available, was a bit worried. However, contacting the rental company via WhatsApp was very smooth, and picking up and dropping off the car was convenient. We drove long distances from Baku, and the highways were easy to navigate. If you're only staying within the city, there's really no need to rent a car. Driving to Shahdag was very convenient!
