The car’s performance was really nothing special. Once you picked up a bit of speed it started to feel unstable, almost like it was drifting. When I returned it, the staff tried to make a fuss over a tiny scratch, but luckily I had everything recorded on video. Compared with rental companies back home, there’s definitely a gap in experience.

Simple to rent. Took a higher deposit because it was not through Dollar direct, which was a little disappointing. Car was in great condition. To find the Dollar desk was easy. Car just outside in Mall carpark. But returning was difficult to find as the Mall has two parts and a mezzanine!

The only thing that did go as planned was related to the insurance excess amount. It was clearly shown as 400USD but Entreprise insisted that it is 3000AED and they blocked this amount on my credit card though my booking from QEEQ was showing 400USD (about 1500AED). Good thing that I did not need it.

The layout of the airport meant that it was a long walk with limited signage to the car rental location. Once there, the process of getting the rental was simple enough. I was a little annoyed with the gentleman who showed me to the car as he demanded me to tip him despite only just arriving in the country. I only had a few dirhams but was made to feel that I had to give it to him.

got a Chevrolet Spark instead of a Figo as booked. on the website the Spark is cheaper, so basically waited 2 hours to get a downgrade and without refund or apologies. When the supplier cannot be trusted, what are the options ?

It is the badest trial i have ever been I booked premium insurance online from easy rent but when i went to pick the car they asked me to pay 120 dirham more for insurance again or anything happen i will pay and i took more time to pick the car and the petrol tank wasnot full.

Thank you so much for the awesome website. I used to contact the rental car office directly and got exorbitant rates. With Eastrentcars I got really competitive rates. The car was clean and new Opel Mokka. I did not wait for that much long about 15 to 20 minutes. Yes, the counter staff was helpful (his name is Edsel). He gave me a delay of two extra hours to return the car. The car rental office can make responding to phone calls faster. I had to wait and hang up the phone sometimes because nobody picked the phone up.
