AVIS cheated on me at my arrival as well as at my departure. I booked SUV and was going to be given small hatchback. I had to pay a lot more extra money at counter for SUV. After I returned the car, AVIS surprised me with heavy penalties for extra days, late return and unspecified fees. I found that out only from my bank account weeks later. AVIS didn't respond to my queries until I contacted police and consumer protection. They apologized and returned money.

It was my first time renting from this company, which I believe is a local Czech company. The rental price was very reasonable, and they even provided a highway vignette for Czech roads (you'll need to buy one separately if crossing into Austria or other countries). There was no pressure to purchase extra insurance or other hidden charges. The deposit of 25,000 Czech koruna was released on the afternoon of the return day.

When renting the car, they strongly recommended purchasing full insurance from them, but I insisted I already bought it through the rental platform, and they immediately proceeded to provide the car. I was lucky to get a Toyota hybrid vehicle this time, which saved me a lot on fuel costs. Returning the car was surprisingly easy; it only required entering the parking lot and using an automated camera to scan the car, and the return process was complete without any staff physically inspecting the car at pickup or return. About a week later, the full deposit was refunded—very trustworthy.

You can rent a car with a Hong Kong driver's license without an IDP... Rented a sedan, got a station wagon instead, felt like a good deal... The car was very new, had only run a little over 4000 km... 1.5T + DSG engine, satisfactory power... High vehicle configuration, key feature includes Carplay, very convenient... Super large trunk, can easily fit two 28-inch suitcases... The car was new and comfortable to drive...

little staff. staff must personally go to the car from the office (from 1 to 4 floors) to issue a car. when we arrived at 9.45 in the morning the office door was closed.drop off a car on the 7th floor, there were no parking lots and staff, I had to go to the office on the 1st floor to the office.

Picked up the car at 9:00 AM and returned it at 9:00 AM with no wait. The counter staff recommended their full insurance as part of their duty, but did not insist when I declined. A hold of 18000 Kc was placed on my credit card as a damage deposit. If there are no issues with the car upon return during RIGHT CARS office hours, they cancel the hold immediately and close the case cleanly.

Another one with Green Motion and this one was the best one. Absolutely fast with documents and perfect check (even if I didn’t saw some micro scratches, owner signed it in my documents). No pressure about extra insurance; no need to leave cleaned car (as other times with Green Motion happened).

Pick up went great. The car was great. The whole process was smooth. Then, we returned the car, and the nightmare began. I am rating everything so low because of the way this website is set up to give great ratings for a bad experience. We had very carefully gone over the car at pickup, looking for scratches, dents, and damage. We found a few, and they were documented. When we returned the car, the staff member again searched for any damage. He began pointing out every large and tiny scratch, and told us we would have to pay for the damage. Apparently, he didn't realize we had kept a copy of the original damage assessment which documented those scratches already existing. There was one small scratch on the wheel that he insisted was not there before. So, he refused to contact the shuttle to allow us to get to the airport until I agreed to pay 50 Euros for the scratch. I had no choice but to pay. I wonder how many others will pay for that existing wheel scratch. Had we not had documentation, we would have had to pay for the scratches that were clearly marked when we picked up the car. This place is a rip off. I will never rent from Global Rent A Car in Prague again. They should be investigated.

All the car rental companies are in one building next to the airport. You handle the paperwork on the first floor and then go to the second floor for the cars. The whole process was quite fast, and the staff were very professional. But! I booked a Mercedes! A Mercedes! And they gave me a Citroen!! Besides going to Prague, I was going to Germany! I specifically booked a German car! And you give me a French car!! Also, the entire parking lot is 80% full of German cars, mainly Mercedes! But they gave me a Citroen! Unhappy, I went back to the counter to negotiate again, but the staff said that the cars had been pre-arranged and couldn't be changed now! This isn't the first time this has happened! Last October, I went to Morocco and booked a Jeep Wrangler, but they gave me an Audi sedan!!! I wanted an off-road vehicle for the desert! And you give me a sedan! What does that mean? I specifically chose an off-road vehicle! Specifically chose the Jeep Wrangler! You didn't give me a Jeep Wrangler! Didn't even give me an off-road vehicle! Do you think car renters are people with no requirements, and any car will do? A car is a very important part of the journey! Can you not be so arbitrary? Yes, you'll say the terms state that they may substitute a similar-class car, I understand! That's why I didn't complain last year. But now it's the same situation again! I feel like choosing a car model while booking is meaningless! Because you never know what they'll give you when you get there!!! And at that moment, you just have to take what you can get!

There are no clear signs in the airport arrival hall, and the address differs from the one on the website. The rental office is not in the airport hall but in the building opposite the airport hall.
